Today through Tuesday we will experience a warming trend that will bring our temperatures into the low 80's with clear to partly cloudy skies. By Wednesday the Starkville area could see some isolated showers and thunderstorms through Friday, but at this point nothing is looking to be severe. Looking like a great last week of school for MSU students!WxCecilhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17470416085942373684noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3325292631069714657.post-53101400189221101692011-03-31T09:52:00.000-07:002011-03-31T09:52:56.612-07:00Deja Vu or a Big Weather Prank? With the possibility of a nor'easter bearing down tomorrow I am reminded of an overlooked storm from 1997. In the Starkville area we will cool down overnight into the 30s. If you are like me then that is too cold! Luckily we will see some warmer weather as the week progresses. By Wednesday a warm front will come through the area and bring the possibility of severe weather. Those people will be in luck because this week a High pressure system will be influencing the weather in our area giving us a dry and warm week! Temperatures are going to be in the 60's this week, possibly warming to the 70's by Friday. All in all this weeks weather will be a welcome change from the frigid temperatures we have been dealing with so far this winter.WxCecilhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17470416085942373684noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3325292631069714657.post-92012507811447956902011-02-06T19:42:00.000-08:002011-02-06T19:42:28.339-08:00Cold Again!

After a beautiful day like today it is hard to believe it is still January. It is also hard to believe that there is a possibility for severe weather this week, but alas, there is that possibility. The rain will begin moving in beginning tomorrow and tomorrow night as a low pressure center sits to our west. This system will give us a chance of precip. through Tuesday when we will see a possibility for some storms to be strong to severe, as a cold front moves through bringing our high temperatures from the 60’s to the upper 40’s. This will give us a reminder that even though we live in the south it is indeed still winter (as deceptive as today might have been).
Today is a beautiful day in the area, but the week is looking a little less beautiful. Starting tomorrow night we are going to see the possibility of rain in our forecast, luckily it looks like our temperatures should stay above freezing through Tuesday during the day, but then our temperatures will take a steep dive into the twenties Tuesday night once a cold front moves into our area and creating the small possibility for some wintry precipitation (nothing too exciting though). Our highs are going to be staying in the 40's the rest of the week, so be sure to stay bundled, but at least the sun will return!WxCecilhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17470416085942373684noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3325292631069714657.post-63988026712022073352011-01-10T16:08:00.000-08:002011-01-10T16:08:28.737-08:00Starkville Snow=Crazy Puppy

This car used to be red.
